Art of the Day: Landline (Alternate Book Cover)
Tools: Pencil and watercolor on watercolor paper // Edited in PSCS5
I’m not going to pretend I know something about marriage but this book hit home for me. Once again, the writing prowess of Rainbow Rowell captivated me. (I will read anything this woman writes.)
Things I loved about this book (contains spoilers):
1. Georgie being a cryer.
2. Neal and Georgie’s “hobitty” chemistry. Man. Short people represent! Finally!
3. Neal and Georgie’s chemistry, period.
4. Seth.
5. The cameo appearance by a couple from one of Rainbow’s previous novel. (!!!)
6. Neal. Neal, Neal, Neal. (God, that very brief chapter in his PoV.)
Expect some more fan art soon. (I swear, I will make a full scale drawing of that Polaroid picture.)
P.S. To my fellow Filipinos: Typhoon Glenda really hit us hard. I hope you’re all safe wherever you are!

agirlwithapugortwo asked: Gi! I was wondering if I could print your artwork "Outward" based on The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater? It would only be for my own visual enjoyment on my walls. I would never claim it as my own or try to sell it. I just really adore it.

Answer:

Sure, go ahead!

Anonymous asked: Hi What filter or texture in PSCS5 are you using for your artworks?

Answer:

Hi! I mostly use photos of papers/cardboards/wood/etc. for texture. And then I just play with the color balance and layer/blend modes in Photoshop for everything else.

Art of the Day: I Always Knew
Tools: Pencil and watercolor on watercolor paper // Edited in PSCS5
This art was inspired by the song of the same title by The Vaccines.
I’ve been binge watching The Office lately and man, Jim and Pam quickly became one of my all-time favorite TV couples. I have not encountered (at least in recent memory) a couple with a stronger chemistry than the two of them together. It blows me away.
